Description
The 15 mi course will begin and end on the Townsend Trail and encompass the Blue Heron, Peninsula, and Osprey Trails that border beautiful Lake Townsend. All of these trails are part of the vast Greensboro Watershed Trail System which contains over 40 miles of natural surface trails.
These are not greenways, bike paths, or groomed trail. The trails are rugged, root lined, rocky, and can generally be pretty gnarly. Be prepared to roll your ankle or fall at least once. The course is rolling with some very steep sections as well as some flat very fast sections.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female.
Age group awards will be given in 10-year increments

Packet Pickup
Packet Pick up will be at Off'n Running Sports on Friday, January 11th from 4-7 pm and at the race site on Saturday, January 12th from 8 - 9:30 am.
