Great camping at Bayshore Campground - Triathlete Discount!
We're proud to continue our partnership with Bayshore Campground, located less than 3 miles from Main Street in Rock Hall! Bayshore has a generous offer for tent camping rates...only $20 per person per night! They've reserved their prime sites right on the Chesapeake Bay just for our triathletes! In order to get this rate, you have to let them know when you make reservations, either on the phone or add a comment when you register online. This is great opportunity to keep lodging costs down, and a perfect place for clubs as well. Check it out HERE
The Watermans Sprint Triathlon is now nestled on the edge of the Eastern Shore of Maryland in picturesque Kent County. Only 18 miles from Baltimore "as the fish swims" (put your bike rack on a boat!) and 90 miles from Philadelphia, Rock Hall is one of the friendliest, most laid back towns anywhere...and is full of history. George Washington took the Annapolis Ferry to Rock Hall nearly ten times before heading to Philly on horseback to work out America's Independence! The swim takes place in Rock Hall Harbor on the Chesapeake Bay, protecting athletes from any serious wind or chop. The bike course is a triathlete's dream. Wide open ribbons of pavement with wide shoulders throughout most of the course take athletes though a huge expanse of countryside - this course is truly pancake flat! The one loop run course is also pancake flat and takes athletes through the quaint neighborhoods and sideroads of Rock Hall, MD.
This event benefits the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
The Waterman's Sprint Triathlon is proud to support the groups that support us. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is a watershed protection agency that fights to keep the water we swim in clean. Please consider making a donation to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation during the registration process.
